Life Groups exist to actively follow Jesus. We affirm the Bible as our ultimate authority and guide for knowing and following Jesus. Life Groups are structured for the church to share life together in which we may grow closer to God and each other. Consisting of three essential elements of Bible Study, Fellowship and Service, Life Groups provides an opportunity to develop Christ-centered relationships, grow DEEP in our understanding of God's word and actively follow the example Jesus established in serving others and sharing the good news and gospel of Jesus Christ. We understand, "life happens", God's word tells us in Hebrews 10: 24-25 "Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together". This is just one of several scriptures we use to affirm the need to assemble together to share life.
Life Group Structures:
- consist of small intimate groups of believers, typically 12 individuals
- lead by a trained coach, with support of a co-leader and social/prayer coordinator
- meets outside of the church (typically in homes, coffee shops, etc)
- focus on fellowship, bible study and service to others, growing in discipleship to share God's love and desire to grow the church
